God is the entity that is supposed to tell us how we came to be. Since Darwin succeeded in doing that , shouldnt we call him God?

By the way, scientific american's new issue is dedicated entirely to "how man became man". Get educated and read it.

NOW, ALL THOSE WHO ARE SCARED OF EVOLUTION AND HAS NEVER STUDIED IT IN ANY DEPTH, COMMENCE YOUR ATTACK.

God is not an entity.
God is created by man to deal with the mysteries of life.
Much of what used to be mysterious is now explained by science, including Mr Darwin.
So, let's keep god where we are most unlikely to unravel the mysteries.
For me, that is before the beginning and after the end of the universe, and at the core of my own being. Science will never explain me, or any other living creature while it is still alive.
Let's put god in life, which means the only place I can find god is in myself and in my connection to other living things.

God is in Darwin, but he is not God.

P.S. God created the universe, but He blew Himself up in the process.

To your belief in the theory of evolution, can you prove it? Darwin cannot. No scientist has been able to do so. Thew fossil record does not provide the evidence needed to prove that evolution actually occurred. These missing links do not exist and never had, so the theory of evolution cannot be proven scientifically. And your criteria for calling one a god is flawed, as the creation of this world has been told in different ways by many different cultures. For instance, the Iroquois believed that the world formed on a giant turtle floating in a giant sea. We know this to be false, but by your criteria, that would make the Iroquois gods.

nope! i am a god unto myself. god is not external. everyone is their own god. dependence on an external god is psychologically harmful.

but darwin was a genius. check out "The Moral Animal: Why We Are, the Way We Are: The New Science of Evolutionary Psychology" by robert wright. pretty interesting stuff, and we get to read a lot of private writings by darwin and also by people concerning darwin.

If your definition of God was valid I would agree with you, but since it isn't I won't. A syllogism which is so facile as the one you propose can easily be disputed on the grounds that the premises are false. It couldn't even be said that you stated a self evident truth.

Darwin proposed a scientific hypothesis which tends to explain how life on earth developed. Proposing a hypothesis does not make you God anymore than being able to recognize a fighter jet makes you a fighter pilot.

of there is (i'm kidding, although) basically they placed offensive names (I will to no longer it) it is incredibly uncomplicated and comfortable, and prefer no person bothers it if evolution became authentic then almost we got here from dinosaurs darwin became in order that bored and could no longer take the certainty that he can not disprove the believers so he created this, surely each and every so-reported as, or perhaps although authentic scientist can surely have the skill to curve each and every thing which maximum folk do no longer comprehend or are uneducated approximately such as you already know, people get each and every thing with no attention i will assure you a hundred% (no longer joking this time) that if darwin became alive now and that i will have the skill to communicate head to head, will overwhelm him down, conversing approximately great information, technologies, and simpler to info he will almost consume his very own beard great Oblivion Darwin or GOD :))))))))

Sure, I'd worship Darwin - if he created us. What can you tell me about the scientists that formed a profile of an ancient man from a tooth they found only to find out later it was that of a pig?

Darwin did not explain how we came to be. He guessed.
His theories of evolution have of yet to be proven correct.
I have never been scared of the evolution theory and have read quite a bit on it.
Too many missing parts.
The adaption synopsis to evolution is quite a stretch.
Also science has accepted the theory of evolution not proven it.

We already knew about Darwin and the fact that he is worshiped by people who believe in their own self-intelligence. I could say the same thing to you - read Swedenborg and get educated - back at you.

Good point, but I personally do not take anything that "man" says as absolute; whether it be from a myth created in the mind or something found to be fact by the laws one has created to explain something one does not understand.
