My mama had the most influence of anyone in my family on my life. She was always kind, gentle, loving, and fair. She lead by example and I am so blessed to have had her for as long as I did. I have been thinking about her a lot, about living up to her standards and about how proud I am to have been her daughter. Would like to hear from you about the person in your family who has left the biggest impression on your life.

My dad is my biggest inspiration and influence in my life. He always worked so hard to give our family everything we needed - and wanted. I never heard him complain, call in sick or shirk his financial or personal responsibilities. He taught me about hard work, being consistent and living with integrity. He definitely gave me my passion for helping others and making me realize that I am an amazing and worthy person. His entrepreneurial spirit sparked my creative side and allowed me to see that I could walk through fear and come out on the other side stronger because of it. He's the most gentle, nurturing and caring man I know.

I would have to say this for me is a two fold answer. First I have to say my father made a big impression on my life. He drank and was abusive. For years i hated men because i viewed all of them through the eyes I saw my father through. I prayed and God has taken that away from me. Secondly, my mother made a wonderful impression on me because no matter how crazy things were at home, she always made us feel safe. If it were not for her being a good christian mother I feel our lives would all be so different. I have a son of my own now and I am proud of the man he has become. Men please listen.........the relationship a girl has with her father is the most important male relationship she will ever have. If you as a man shows her that men are abusive and mean, that is all she will know and that sets up her perspective on men , hopefully not for the rest of her life. There are alot of good men out there and to all of you I want to say ....thank you for loving your daughters and sons and showing them that anyone can have a baby, but it takes a real man to be a dad. God bless you all and have a blessed evening.

My late Mom. She was the one that I had most laughs with. She and I were on the same wavelength, and when I found out that we were going to lose her, I felt like I would never laugh again. It has been 4 years (as of yesterday), and I am still laughing, but it is different. She has worked hard to give me every opportunity that I have achieved to seek out. She did not hand me what I have, but she made me want to want to acquire aspects of life that matter to me. That is why she is the one who made the biggest impression on me.

My husband has the most influence on me. He is supportive of whatever I do. He loves me no matter what. He helps me strive for things that I would probably not of done myself. He is honest to the point that this waitress gave us a check and came back with the same amount of money we gave her we could of left with a free meal but he told her. He says he would not want to have that to be on his conscience.

My Grampa was. He taught me to work hard and "to take the pain like a man". He also took care of all 5 of his girls and all his grandchildren is whole life and would help out anyone who asked him. I was very blessed to have such a person in my life and I am forever greatful.

My Grandfather on my dad's side. He died on Oct. 12th 2003. He had liver cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, emphezema, skin cancer. He was an alcoholic and chain smoker. I dont smoke. And I never will. I dont' drink excessively and stop before I get too hooked. I will never be a drunk girl at a party. I wish that I could have had a more positive influence like you had with your mother. I'm sure she loved being your mom as much as you loved being her daughter.

My father and my grandmother.
My father because he was a severe alcoholic, meaner than a snake and very abusive.
My grandmother because she helped keep me on the right track, was loving and caring. She despised what her son was and did and tried to counter his actions.
