Couldn't have been that high, she'd have been dead....although very well preserved...like, in a glass jar maybe....

I think you mean a .27 right? having a 2.7 BAC or blood ac content. This would meanyou cousin basicly had light beer in the veins. certain death. A .27 can be had with 6 drinks with in about an hour. Lets say the avarage 120 pound 20 yo female with limited exposure to the "juice" may or may not need to get pumped. In my adventures in the field she should have been very young or maybe "cocktailing". Cocktailing is mixing drinks with meds. ie oxy cotton, hydrocodine or such

That's about 4 times the legal limit where I am from. Sounds like alcohol poisoning and it could have been a LOT worse. What was she thinking?? That is too much in too little of a time to drink!

if u have something less than 0.15% of alcohol in ur body( in case of addicted drinker ) u can survive without any medical aid.
0.8 % for a adult 18 yrs non drinker. ur cousin had consumed awful lot. pls dont go only by how much u drink ( pegs) but also what u drink. some absurd combination of harmless ingredients if taken in single can prove to be deadly. so donot make ur own cocktails and donot drink them in abundance.

2.7 what? Perhaps it was .27? The six drinks must have been Long Island Ice teas or something because I don't even get drunk on 6 drinks.

you must mean .27 not 2.7. I was .22 when arrested and hospitalized...I was 200 lbs. and 27 yrs old. My tolerance at that point had been attained through about 11 yrs of dousing my stomach with, what started with beer, then cheap beer, then cheap rum and tequila. .27 is not good.

That is very high. You also have to take into account her Height, and weight. If she is a small person, yes definitely. If she is a big person it is still dangerous.

If she drinks like this on a regular basis, she may need some professional help.

That was a high reading though rarely fatal. Above .35 is into fatal territory so it was a good thing that she passed out when she did. At .5, it's fatal for most of the population.

Wouldn't be high for the professional alcoholic, but for an inexperienced drinker yes
