Opinions? Am I weird?

Just wondering because from pretty much everyone I've ever talked to getting drunk sounds like a very normal thing, and I almost feel out of place having never experienced it.

NO I Don't think your weird at all. That's a great thing! Many people can't even make it to the age of 16. Me personally have never been drunk but I have drunk before. I think it's cool anyway. Just remember most girl are turned off by guys with beer guts and that drink!

Your not missing anything. DON'T GET DRUNK. If you think you want to get drunk try being the designated driver some night when your buddies go out and just sit back and watch the idiocy that takes place. It will reassure you that staying sober is the only way to live. You stay in control of your thoughts and action, you don't do stupid stuff, you don't get sick and vomit on your shoes--or anybody Else's, no hangovers, no waking up and wondering where you are or who is that person next to me, you know where your money is, you don't have a hangover, you don't miss work because you have a hangover, you look all nice and healthy and not like death warmed over the next day. And the list goes on and on. Be a smart boy and stay sober. Believe me when I tell you you're mother and future wife will love you for it.

You are not weird for never having been drunk. Being drunk is not such a great thing. However if you do drink, I would recommend one night sitting with a friend at home and having enough drinks to get drunk so that you know what your limit is... Then you can always stop drinking before you reach that point.
People who enjoy getting drunk are usually trying to escape reality in some way.

There's different levels of drunk, and if you don't want to try at all, great, don't but if you want to, go for it. You don't have to drink until you pass out to get drunk. For example, I'm basically drunk right now, but I'm perfectly able to function (I wouldn't drive, I don't care if it's only been one beer, I NEVER drink and drive!), some people have more fun after a few drinks, some people have more fun after a LOT of drinks, and some have fun sober, there is no "normal" I don't care how old you are. Just don't feel pressured into it, but if you want to try getting drunk, no biggie. Just relax and have a good time!

Dude your not weird....thats awesome---I personally dislike that habit people have.. I never been drunk and I am 18(peer pressure all around especially people who say they are friends but dont act like it :)) and from what I hear its not worth it. It damages the temple that God has given us. The liver, brain cells, nerves, headaches, esophagus can be harmed by this substance. Besides why drink? Is it to have fun?--hmm seriously think about it....... while the company is making money off of you, you are just destroying your precious body. Its not worth it----water is a great natural element

I am 27 and have never been drunk. I have never thrown up because I got too drunk or had a hangover. I haven't ever done anything idiotic or slept with someone I didn't really like because I was drunk.....I don't really think I am missing out on anything.

my brother is about the same age as you and he has never had a single drink...nothing wrong with that. not everyone has to like alcohol.
you are definitely not missing out on anything...it's a great feeling for about 5 minutes, then you wish everything would go back to normal. it doesn't help the next day you feel like total crap either--vomiting, headache, sensitive to loud noises, and just plain YUCK.
yeah, don't feel obligated to get drunk. i don't think you are weird at all. ;-)

NO you are not weird being drunk is actually a discusting feeling your head hurts you wanna puke and lets not forget all the stupid crap you end up doing while drunk. Drink in moderation - stop when you get buzzed to avoid the ever dreaded hang over!

My husband is 24 and has never been drunk. That is just something he is not interested in doing. Good for you. You're not missing anything.

good! I was an alcoholic for 14 yrs and I never planned it! My Mother was killed in a head-on by a drunk driver, along with my stepfather. He was a Colonel in the Marines, it was a grunt that killed them. I'm lucky I stopped, you're lucky you never started!
