Fat burning and toning are two different things. If you want to lose fat, cardio is your answer for this (treadmill, fast walking outside, stationary bike, elliptical, aerobics, kickboxing, tae bo, etc) This must be done for a minimum of 30 minutes to get fat off.
Toning the chest, push ups, bench press, weight machines (butterfly seated chest press) You can also do push ups against the wall, standing with your feet way back up on your toes.
Toning the abs, crunches, you can do ab work with the ball, weighted ball, weights, there are a variety of ways to work these. Go to "bodyforlife" on your search engine and look at the different ways that they work these areas. Remember when you do your cardio your fat all over will go down. Diet is a big thing too, be sure you aren't eating at night after 7:30.

Swimming is very good for chest shoulders abs. Since your not using ur feet alot ur not putting pressure on ur shins. Also try to give ur chest shoulders whatever u worked out a day off and work a different part of ur body. Drink nothing but water, dont eat late and dont eat fats.
