I would like to test my cuircuts on the computer but when it comes to digital parts fed back as analog cuircuts the software is limited another thing I don't understand is infinity gain as a part of an oscillator.

Testing is about limits, and loads.

Check low, on and above limits, min and max.

I use SPICE simulators and a handy computer calculator. And lots of graph analyzations, real annoying, but it works hundred times better than pencil and paper. LT Switcher CAD, as one of the users mentioned, is a pretty good SPICE sim, but it is mainly for developing regulator circuits with the companies own proprietary chips. Search yahoo for SPICE SIMULATOR. Their are also some companies in the radio industry that offer some real advanced sims for microwaves and such, but you wont be able to get your hands on them.
