sure- it's probably about 1 1/2 hour from there. I've been to King's Dominion. It's pretty fun, but peaple say it's not as good as six flags or bush gardens.

King's Dominion is on exit 98 off of I-95
That's about 72 miles from the DC beltway and about 7-8 more to Downtown DC.

King's Dominion is near Richmond, VA about and 1.5 hours from DC. Straight down I-95.
Bush Gardens is near Williamsburg, that's more like 2.5 hours from DC.

hahahha I am going there soon! No, kings dominion is closer to the fredericksburg/richmond areas....probably 3 or more hours from DC. However, there is a six flags very close to DC (baltimore i believe, but don't hold me to it!)

You might want to try Six Flags. It has water and the BEST ROLER COASTERS! I would say from DC is is about 30 to 45 minutes. It has to be your best bet.
