This is kind of stupid, used to do it when I was in Junior High (yes we had telephones back then). A group of us would call one number about 10 to 15 minutes apart, each time asking Is so and so there or can I speak to so and so. After a while the answerer either plays along with the game or gets pissed. If they play along, boring choose a new number. When they get pissed, wait about 20 minutes and call saying "This is so and so, have there been any calls for me?" Told you it was stupid.

u could pretend that you are ordering pizza, or you could put on a fake accent like indian, or you could pretend u know the person and say stuff like "i haven't seen you in such a long time!!!"

but then again if you do that they might think you are phsyco and call the police

Prank calls are illegal and there are so many high tech pieces of equipment to trace calls that one would be found out. Your phone can be removed, even if it's in your parents' name, and if you use your friends' phone, their phone can be removed. In today's sick world, the person doing the prank calls is adding to the violence and we need no more. It's time young people take responsibility for their behavior. It depends on what the caller says on what charges can also be filed. I'm sure the person doesn't want to end up in juvenile detention due to lack of self control; the person will then have a record and will follow him/her the rest of his/her life. A young person needs to think of good constructive things to do with free time, such as reading, cooking, helping clean house, mow the lawn, anything other than harrass people. We don't have enough prisons for young people today, we don't need more just dying to go to prison and ruin his/her entire life. If one is a prank caller, more than prank calling will likely follow, as one illegal act follows another.
