in the verse above the bible refers to Jehovah as a man, could it be that Jesus is refering to himself as the son of that man (GOD) and not the son of the HUMAN race?

In the Bible there are many names for God. Each name tells us something about who God is. For instance, the name "El-Shaddai" tells us that God is "The Almighty One". Jehovah is a special name that God uses of himself in personal relationship to man that is a saving relationship with man. Jesus is the name of God when he became a human being. It corresponds to the old testament Joshua or Yeshua. Jesus, the Christ of God, is Jehovah of the old testament.

At Isaiah 42:13, Isaiah is using a form of writing called a "simile"
A simile is a figure of speech in which the subject is compared to another subject. Frequently, similes are marked by use of the words "LIKE" or "AS" or "SO".

Notice, Isaiah compares Jehovah to a 'might man of war'. He does not say Jehovah "IS" a mighty man.
“Like a mighty man Jehovah himself will go forth. Like a warrior he will awaken zeal. He will shout, yes, he will let out a war cry; over his enemies he will show himself mightier.” (Isa.42:13)

Jesus referred to himself as "son of man" before he healed a man in

Matt.9

[6] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

He was son of man because he WAS born of a human mother. Jesus WAS human.

Furthermore Jesus called His Heavenly father, " Eli" just before He died on the cross. Not Jehovah!

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

What you do not believe Jesus was born in the usual way to Mary? (not the mating)

Did Jesus come here as a full grown man?

When God refers to him self as a man, it would be like me referring to you as a bull in a china shop. Does that mean I think your a bovine, 4 stomachs and all?

John, chapter 17
11: And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.
John, chapter 17
22: The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

whats this means is they are one in agreement with one mission also
John, chapter 10
34: Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, `I said, you are gods'?
it goes like this Jehovah, is the GOD of all and of Jesus. Jesus is the God of us and we are the gods of the land. notice the spelling GOD,God,god also LORD and Lord. the world LORD is GOD and Lord is Jesus.. so thats how Jesus is our God. but also keep in mind Jesus never said worship him not once in the bible. and GOD says he is a Jealous GOD put no one before him
