I am inviting a man to my house for dinner for the first time, since we met. He will meet my 4 kids, my 2 roomates and my ex (we are still good friends) who all live with me for the first time. I dont know whether I should leave all the little things, like dusty pictures and plants, and some laundry in the basement and all the cob webs on the BBQ outside, or whether I should pretend that I clean that stuff all the time even though I dont. Should I try to make a super duper impression or just let him see it the way it usually is???

For me, if the kitchen is clean and the bathroom is clean that says a whole lot about a woman. you have kids so the living room is bound to have kid stuff in it.

i imagine it is somewhat intense- i'm a SAHM of two little ones a at the same time as a million a million/2 and three a million/2 and some days are extra effective than others at the same time as it consists of getting the residing house prepared and so as... For me it particularly works to have a cleansing recurring- I vacuum everyday- it variety of feels to shop the dirt/airborne dirt and mud at bay and considering my children play on the floor AND we've a canines it helps with puppy hair besides. I dirt once a week and that i polish the fixtures 1x a week I do a recurring wipe down of the lavatory/kitchen each day and then once a week i will do a "deep sparkling" the position I wipe down each and every thing and sparkling it with a twig.. The dishes go into the dishwasher AFTER each and every meal and then it receives run at evening on time put off and unloaded the subsequent morning... The beds get made everyday and the linens get replaced 1x a week... If i can shop up with the each day recurring then after I do have time on the weekends it takes me about 2hours to end the total residing house... Oh I also do laundry in between.... I artwork pt contained in the evenings 3 evening a week or so.... i imagine in case you est. a cleansing recurring he will be extra possibly to get off your back and also you've extra time to kick his *** ! good success

Wow, I think cleaning your house is the least of your worries. I think you need to clean up your life. I honestly can't imagine a guy walking in to a relationship with someone who still lives with their ex and four kids. If he asked opinions here everyone would tell him he's stupid or crazy. I wouldn't touch it with a 20 foot pole.

I would some dusting and vacuming to fix the place up a little. But don't stress yourself too much. He's a guy so even if you cleaned everything spotless he might not notice.

Just be yourself. If things work out between the two of you, he might be disappointed later if you fake being a clean freak. And he might expect it.
