OMG there are so many good places to eat in Sac. of course you have the hard rock cafe, the speggetti factory, original petes, fats (thats my fav it is in old town), fats california (good but expensive). It really depends on what type of food you are looking for. There is a really good Sushi place almost towards the end of K st between K and J just after the mall ends. There is also a brewery in the mall that has good food and beer.
