I am a personal trainer I use to work with a girl she was 5’4 135 pounds and she wasn’t fat, she wasn’t overly muslcular. She had the best body I have ever saw in my life! No exaggeration it was beautiful! Everyone thought she weighed a lot less than she did because she had a lot of muscle. Once again I am not talking about overly muslcular I like women to be built like women not men. So first of all I bet you look great at 130 pounds!
You probably would be happier at that 125, this is just a psychological goal because if five pounds doesn’t change your appearance it really doesn’t matter. That is beside the point because we are all like that to a certain degree. We look at the scale and want it to read something other than it does. I want to weigh more! But it really doesn’t matter as long as you look good and feel good about yourself.
Your question is what would be an ideal calorie intake to shed five pounds? As far as a calorie number you should intake about 1400 calories. But I wouldn’t and don’t advice you counting calories instead eat sensibly. Five meals a day the first three meals a protein and a carb the last two meals only protein with a vegetable. Try a couple of meal replacement bars or shakes. This will make it easier.
You don’t want to starve yourself because if you do your metabolism will go in hibernation and this will make you hold on to fat and get rid of muscle!
Understand fitness and nutrition is a lifelong commitment not a goal!

well shedding 5 pounds shouldn't be that difficult. But you should prob just eat a little less calories and work out a little bit more. THe number of calorie intake daily really depends on what your taking in currently. The average person should take in 1200 calories so i guess if you want to shed a few vanity pounds maybe try eating like 900 - 1000 calories per day.

Staying at about 1600 is perfectly fine because you work out regularly and the fact that you are strength training you will burn calories when you are not working out (no joke) The FIRM Workouts adopt this philosophy - you can find your particular workout calculator (how many calories to take in, how much you work out, etc) at the link below. Good luck!

you should take in 1500 cals per day
a pound = approx. 3000 calories
So, 2000-1500=500
It will take about 6 days that way to lose a pound.
To lose 5 pounds, about a month :)
good luck!
