Sometimes, but never always. Let me give you two examples. I like this guy, I tell him and then ask him out. We had been flirting for weeks so it wasn't like I was walking into a wall here, he had mentioned liking me to. Well, he turned me down. My head screamed nooooo..and my heart said go and I did and I got burned. Yay for me! Another time. I had a huge crush on this guy who was about to graduate. I was going to tell him, but I never did because I figured that he was leaving and it just wasn't worth it. About six months later when he was just getting into the whole college routine, he called and admittied that he had had a MAJOR crush on me. Wow. That sucks too. He called a few nights later really excited because he had just asked this girl to be his girlfriend. So there was this perfect guy in a relationship with a girl that should have been me. And it could have been if only I had listened to my heart. Soo as you can see, following either your heart or your head can lead to devastation. Its all about gut feeling, intuition. And if you're going to try for something, go at it completely, because holding back only leads to more heartache as well.

The heart gets you into situations
The head then has to deal with the consequences

Often enough in life we do ! But we usually regret the decision that we made. I think it would be most wise to think with your heart and not your head. I only say that speaking from experience !!! Take Care

No ... go with your heart, it knows best. Your head will only talk you out of every loving situation and find reasons why you shouldn't be with someone!

No. Hearts always win in the end...even if you think that your head has won the day. Nagging doubts and heartache...subtle, then strong, will rule.
There is no winning really. Fate will do as she will.
Sorry, but it's the truth. Just pray to be lucky in whom you love.

At times people tend to over analyze things & though we are told to "follow our hearts" (which I totally agree with) we should also be realistic and put thought into important decisions.

We should follow our hearts but our hearts can cause problems when it comes to love so you have to be careful.

via fact Jeremiah 17:9 says "the middle is greater treacherous than the rest and is desperate, who can comprehend it" "greater beneficial than all else it is to be gaurded safegaurd your heart for out of it are the factors of existence" (proverbs 4:23) So the assumption to "follow your heart" isn't a competent theory! ;)
