well i think that if you're meant to be with him in the end than you minus well be friends with him for now. sometimes friendship turns out to be so much more, trust me. sometimes it's best to be friends first, though he is your ex. let him see what he's missing by always being around him, by letting him see the real you, not some fake impersonation of you just trying to get him to take you back.
