The only solution is to get her spayed.

She isn't trying to be bad or annoying, and there are no solutions (humane ones) to stop the mewing. She is responding physically to hormones. If you don't like it, and don't want to add to the problem pet population, then you pay to get her spayed.

There is no such thing as a birth control pill for cats. The only alternative is to spay them. It is quite a simple operation on a kitten - they are smaller, their uterus is smaller and the incision is smaller - it's a much quicker surgery than performing a spay on a full grown cat. The kittens recover much quicker from the anesthesia than adult cats do as well. Believe me, they are out and do not feel a thing during the surgery so it is not painful at all. She may be sore a day or two, depending how old she is...the younger the kitten, the quicker they bounce back...we even have kittens playing the same night after coming home from being spayed or neutered.

We recommend getting her spayed now before she gets pregnant. Millions of kittens are euthanized each year because there are not enough homes for them. Do the right thing, and get her spayed asap. It's also good for her healthwise as it reduces the chance of certain types of cancers too.

Thank you for caring for her and doing the right thing!

Unfortunately, cats are induced ovulators, which means that once she comes into heat she won't come out til she is pregnant. Get her spayed right away before she manages to sneak out (they are very crafty when in head) or a male manages to sneak in!

I had a breeding bengal female and once she came into heat...oh man she was annoying, but she wasn't old enough to breed yet and she seriously did it for months, until I eventually decided to spay her.

The best thing you can do for her is have her fixed ASAP. Cats may sometimes remain in heat until they get pregnant...I don't recommend this approach. I once waited too long and a cat I owned conceived, and later died while in labor.

In addition to you being annoyed, your cat is lonely for a mate, which is unpleasant and stressful for her as well. You'd both be happier and more relaxed if she were fixed; please don't put this off any longer--for both of your sakes.

I had an identical subject, once I moved into my new residing house my lady cat of four years could meow loudly interior the midst of the night as quickly as we've been all sound asleep. It replaced into appropriate to as she in no way meowed. i could in simple terms upward thrust up and convenience her and he or she could commence purring after which all could be effective regardless of if it may take place the subsequent night back. After a pair of weeks she stopped. i could nonetheless desire to correctly known why she did it.

Unfortunately, you'll have to tolerate this whining till she's out of heat, which shouldn't be too long.

Immediately get her spayed then, because cats tend to cycle in & out of heat until they're bred.

It doesn't last forever. Only a few days and she'll be back to normal. After you get her spayed it won't happen again.

Sorry, there's not a thing you can do until she's spayed. You have my sympathy. (What q-tip thing? I don't think I want to know!)
