We are all sinners according to the bible. So none can be like God. God does not make mistakes. We are all capable of being forgiven, so the bible doesn't prevent murder, rape, child abuse, etc... Then I ask, can you see how awful goodness is?

If God is a perfect being, then he does not make mistakes. So everything and anything around you was made by God.

When God showed his way (perfection) simultaneously, anything other than his way is sin (imperfection).

Sin is an archery term that means the distance from the center of the bulls eye to your arrow. In essence, how much you missed the mark. God hates sin not because we do bad things, but that we miss the path to him.

No I don't see goodness as awful. God did not create sin. Sin is doing things we know to be wrong so we are the ones that made sin, not God. God made a way so we, as sinners, can have redemption from sin. The very thing we made and then blame God for.

God didnt create sin. He created a beautiful Angel. This angel was over the Heavenly Choir. But he wanted to be God so God threw him out of Heaven. this angel took a third of the other angels with him. This is now Satan and his demons. satan brought sin into the world when he got Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. God gave us free will to make our own choices. He didnt want us to be robots, so he gave us personalities. He doesnt want us to sin, but it's ultimately our choice weather to or not. We are human, and it's in our nature to make mistakes. god knows that. thats why he sent Jesus. We are not capable of making our selves good enough for heaven. Gods grace is the only way to do that.

Oh now you've done it, look out for the christo-Nazis, they are about to descend on you.

Look, God is God, if you believe He is absolute then your statement may have merit. Consider, God is all knowing, all seeing, truly Omnipotent. IF that is the case, then yes you can argue he created sin, this would be so because if He already knew what was to be and did nothing to stop it, He then is guilty.......

However, IF you believe that sin in the sole purview of man and satan, then it begs the question, is God truly Omnipotent?

As for whether he loves us, that's up for grabs, I'd like to think so.

BTW, note to HAWKE, if He made us perfect, how pray tell could we mess up.....you did say we were made PERFECT.

that's the question that everyone of us at one time or another has struggled with, I know I have. I was abused as a child and I think that is why it took me 33 years before I could trust Jesus, He is big enough for your anger and your question. For me I know it has taught me to be a compassionate person. I will have alot of questions for him when I see him face to face. Gods Peace to you . God did Create the world knowing that sin would be in it and if any one tells you different they are making God look pretty small/. I think a better way to state it is that God allowed sin in his plan.

It's almost as if God had a bad hair day. I'm not so sure the common vision of God is at all accurate. Perhaps God started everything and then went to some other part of the universe. Perhaps the day-to-day is up to us, and we're supposed to be on our best behavior over here.

God didn't create sin. Nor did He create good. Those are not created things (they are actions...like he didn't create walk, run, jump, etc...).
Now there is a verse in the King James (in Isaiah I believe) that says that God created evil but if you look up the word "evil" in Hebrew it has to do with Him sending calamity.
God DID, however, create people with the ability to complete actions.
God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for people's poor choices. We have the choice to again reject God's provision or accept it. However, we are responsible for our ACTIONS.

Great question, keep em coming.

He didn't create sin, but he gave us free will to decide what's good or not, and yes we can be like God, in fact our mission in earth is to become perfect as He is and make our ascension like Jesus and Mary did, and so many others, if you really want to know a little more what I'm talking about then go to this site...

A man is holding a gun in his hand. He aims and points it at a child. He pulls the trigger. The child dies. What killed the child the gun or the man? This same question is asked over and over. Man pulled the trigger, no one made him do it. He chose to do it on his own accord. We can choose what to do. We can choose what we won't do. Yes I see how awful man is. Everyone says that we evolved from chimps, apes, not apes, etc. Got some sad news for you, if they could talk they would say throw them back we don't want them. They are to wicked for us. Mankind the highest of intelligence is the lowest on brain power. If you can prove me wrong on this one go ahead.

God did not create sin. That is the one thing that God didn't create.

What happened was that God created creatures who had freewill. One of his angels, having been given the freewill to turn against him, did in fact turn against him, and this was the genesis of sin.

This turned angel--Lucifer, also known now as Satan--began a power struggle for the world of human souls. Satan is the creator of sin, and he is the instiller of sin in the hearts of humans.

Instead of asking questions of people, brother, why don't you go and ask God? He will answer all of your questions.

If you are spending time trying to disprove the Bible, for example, you are going to be on a long and icky road. Just go to the source--God himself--and ask for what you want.
