first off I'm an agnostic, let's look at some of the good things religious people do like feed the poor, help people with drug problems, give people shelter, and give people clothing. Granted you don't have to be religious to do good deeds as I do alot of volunteer work myself, some religions really promote social problems. Can't we forgive them for pushing their ideas on us if they do alot to benefit humanity?

for some folks, merely mentioning our beliefs constitutes 'pushing' our ideas on others...the act of praying is considered a 'faux pas' at best and an unforgivable insult at worst...we're not asking for, nor do we need, anyone's forgiveness for being obedient to our faith(s)...a lot of people don't see the good things that religious people and their congregations do in the community and in the rest of the world...building schools, establishing hospitals, shelters, clinics...it may come as a surprise to many that churches all over raise money for the american cancer society, habitat for humanity, aids clinics, shelters for abused women, local schools, food banks, the red cross, meals on wheels, and a host of other causes that benefit everyone-the amount of help given for katrina victims was enormous, and you can count on the 'religious community' to be pitching in wherever and whenever there is a need...

Religions do those things to evangelise more people. They prey (with an E) on weak people (the poor, drug addicts, etc.) so they enhance their regiment.

Anyway, I'll agree that one thing is religious people and a very different thing are religious institutions. Religions are the worst institutions to ever have stepped on the earth. And religious people are their victims, who work for their victimisers to prosper. So, I cannot blame the religious, but I have to keep on the alert, so they don't try to prey on me.

There is no hate at them.
I for one am a very religious person. But I'm getting preached at a bunch of people who think they have the RIGHT to do so. Now, we all know it's not their RIGHT to preach if I don't want to hear it. So why is it not our RIGHT to shove them off if they do?

It's probably because we finally have the freedom to openly deny the religion of the majority without fear of being burned or shunned. Some of us just take it to far.

because there is always an opposite force that is why, and if religious people are protesting love and that there is something higher up that is so great, there will be an opposite reaction to that, and that is hate and evil

Christians are easy to hate. It is easy to hate what we stand for. No one cares about the good in anyone any more.
