there are actually al-quieda(sp.) training videos that showed the terrorists how to mix different liquids together to create a bomb that can be detonated with something like a cell phone or iPod, things like that. Most of these bombs can be made from common household liquids, but I don't know what specifically.

Hi, no, this time its not a needless worry. there are certain liquids that when mixed cause a differential in air pressure and can ignite the air. if said liquids were mixed on a plane where the air pressure is maintained constantly there would be a massive explosion causing catastrophic damage to the planes fusalage. the plane would be rendered incapable of a safe landing. the plan for the terrorists was to do this liquid mix over a larg city and the plane would be forced out of the air in a densly populated area. its true that many of the bomb making materials are in your home, especailly if you have a pool. the muratic acid you put in mixed with __________ is strong enough to blow a manhole cover up.... dont ask....

The liquids can be poured out and replaced with other liquids that can be mixed with other liquids that someone else brings on board to make an explosive. There are things in your household right this minute that can be mixed to make a small explosive device. Anyone who has taken organic chemistry or has a good overall knowledge of chemistry can make a bomb easily with everyday chemicals.

Have you not been watching the news. Because of the terror threat in Britian and towards the US they raised our terror level. I don't think more that liquid bombs can be put into bottles looking like other things. i'd be surprised if he can have a carry on bag.

well i heard from the news that you CAN carry liquids but they have to be checked first
and it's probably because terroists could use bottles like water bottles or something and hold some crap for bombs or some manic invention thing...
