Eat more food rich in vitamen d, also plenty of sun helps.
However the difference is pretty negligable and probably not worth
bothering with

How can your hair be healthy when it's dead cells? The problem is you can't make your hair grow faster unless you go outside alot, that's why this season is the season where hair grow the fastest.

Vitamin E promotes hair growth.
Back in the day (late 80's) I was friends with many hair bands, the guys always took extra vitamin E to help their hair grow as well as keeping it shiney and healthy.
