Please visit the site below and send a postcard to President Bush. These helpless people are being raped, tortured, murdered, and displaced by a group known as Janjaweed which is financially backed by the government of Sudan. This is something I am very passionate about and I urge you to send the postcard. If you feel the need to educate yourself futher before taking action, please search through the site. The stories are heart wrenching!

Thanks to all those who take action!

Also, if you have some spare time, try to play this game. It may give you a feel for what life is like for the millions of displaced people in Sudan. The objective is to keep the refugee's in the camp for 7 days. It is not as easy as it seems!

I too am very passionate about educating people and taking action against the genocide in Darfur. I attended the rally this past April and am so disappointed that the momentum we had then has dwindled.

If you are a student and want to do more, check to see if your school has a STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) chapter. If not, start your own. Go to www.standnow.org for more information.

These people deserve a fighting chance to reclaim their dignity and lives. They are human beings just like you and me, and if we do nothing to stop this, then we are just as guilty as the murderers and militias that attack these people daily. Stand up and use your voice - your power - today!

I will be honest... My first reaction was to turn away to another question. I have so many causes that press on my heart and I work amongst the poorest of the poor in South Africa. But I was drawn into your compassion and the curiosity about the interactive game. This is so clever!! (We will develop one of our own for one of our projects on the plight in shantytowns, I think).

Thank you for inspiring me today. I will be more aware of other areas beyond the needs where I try to make a small difference in my corner of the world. I will also send a postcard from South Africa to your President and our own...

Thank you.

I really appreciate that you're so passionate about this cause.I've read quite a lot about Darfur and the horrendous conditions the people are living in. I support various agencies that are working to ease many humanitarian crises around the world. I sent the post card. Keep trying. You're doing the right thing.Best wishes.

Thank you for raising awareness with the interactive and informative game. Getting the word is the greatest way to get people to play the game... to learn in an open format that is challenging and truthful. Excellent.
