I joined Answers to try to help people with their issues giving my expert opinion as I am a credit professional by trade.

I have experience in many other areas as well. These ignorant losers get the info. and do not bother to respond w/a best answer rating, and leave it up to others to vote on. I'm not doing this for points.

I just wanted to share my info, and try to point people in the right direction.

I've never seen so many ungrateful losers on a website as this.

I'm not wasting my time or knowledge on this thing any longer.

Anyone with any eduacation out there that has the same opinion?

I have the same opinion as you. I try to share my information and help others too but do not get a response with a best answer rating either. I feel that too many people abuse this website instead of taking it seriously. I will keep trying for awhile and hope that it improves.

Maybe since you have such a low opinion of the question askers, you will be doing them a favor by "not wasting ... time or knowledge on this thing any longer"

How can you give objective and helpful advice to people you obviously detest?

I take credit matters very seriously. If an OP doesn't vote for the best answer, I always wonder if they understand the answers. Since many times state and fed statutes etc. can be extremely confusing to someone who has never dealt with them before. But, not much can be done about it. All I can do is hope that things work out for them.

When someone is facing credit problems, they are have enough to worry about. Do I fault them for not taking the time to worry about clicking on the best response button? - NO!!!

I don't think of them as ignorant or ungrateful OR losers. Just people who are going through hard times.

You said you aren't here for the points. So why are you complaining. You are definitely here to feed your ego in some way. I give my advice based on my education and experience and move on. Okay, I entertain myself from time to time by being snarky, but I don't expect any recognition for that either.

Maybe you're too condescending and people take your advice but would rather ignore you and the delivery of it. I get bunches of email about my answers, so I'm satisfied with what I've done for people even if very few bow and scrape at my feet.

P.S. I just looked at some of your answers after reading someone else did. Your problem is you don't generate any respect and have a bad reputation. People WILL check up on attitude before giving someone a BA.

I get rated best answer somewhat and I feel as though I give good answers. However most people just want the info to run with. I would suggest telling people that if they email you with questions you can offer them a consultation for a fee or something. You could also try doing this as a business. I tried credit counseling and budget counseling as a business and it worked for me. That's until I got a diagnosis on my children that caused me to have to give up the business. It didn't make me rich but I was able to do pretty well at it. Give it a try.

I was amazed u didn't get a best answer for that. So detaild and thoughtful .Really the work of an expert

Well, helping people is helping people! It really has nothing to do with stroking your own ego. Let go of your ego! If you are not doing it for points, why do you care?! You shared your info and perhaps helped people, is that not enough for you? Calling people names only suffices in making you look like an obtuse redneck! It sounds to me like you are the one with the problem and that maybe you should educate yourself on what it means to help others!

What is wrong with you?

It's a public, open forum. The whole point of it is discussion!

People *SHOULD* leave their questions up to hear multiple responses.

People are sometimes WRONG (including YOU), and having MORE THAN ONE OPINION IS NECESSARY.

Thats why you should put "good luck" at the end of your answer so you don't have to ever talk to them again..You just wish them good luck and hope the information is useful to them.

I do it to help people. It would be nice to rate me. I don't care.

You said you joined yahoo answers to help people with their issues? If you're getting that easily upset, could you (not saying that all of us don't have them either) have an issue?

How do think these people got into debt in the first place? lack of responsibilities. They pay their bills as promptly as they take advice.
