I am a follower of Jesus Christ who is the Way the TRUTH and the Life, but to this question I have to say SCIENCE has more truth than religion. Religion is man made ritual that can prove totally unfruitful. Science contains more truth than that! If you'd have asked about the LORD in whom all things were created and exist, then my answer would have been different.

Science

Religion has more truth in my opinion, because science is based on the survival of humans under certain conditions on earth while religion supports the survival of the spirit. Also, science is only humans perception of truth, while religion (non man made religion) guides us to an ultimate truth. Science changes as humans brains develop, but people have been reading the Bible and the Qu'ran for centuries.

If you were in the middle of the sea about to drown, you would
ask the Creator to save you. I don't think anyone would only depend on science in a life or death situation. Smile.

Physical evidence is not always better than spiritual evidence. Physical evidence is perception.

Science.

Well If you believe in a religion which has a core belief that reality is nothing but a dream then for that person science can't prove anything since it is just a myth along with reality.

So technically from a logical standpoint neither science or religion can be proved as complete fact since not one person alive or dead can 100% accurately prove anything to be true because of all the unknown possibilities and they never will be able to.

So really the only truth we have is what we believe to be true since nothing can be proved because of the infinite possibilities which can prove it to be wrong or non existent.

Religion. But that's only because Religion covers everything that is (even the religions we haven't made up yet) whereas science is merely our current understanding of the universe. There is a theoretical religion that exists that has every single aspect of the universe down pat. Science isn't there yet.

That being said, most of the religions of earth are probably total bunk, and until that theoretical religion can be shown to me, I'm going to go with science: more practical.

hmm.. see science is based on facts ie what we can detect with our 5 senses (as well as powerful tools) but how can we trust them with the big bang theory when this is an assumption and there were no witnesses? we accept that for something to be, something has to be made. A cause and effect. So creation must have had an intelligent design, a Creator.

religion has survived since the beginning of humanity but has been distorted by man along the way. however it gives us our purpose, meaning of life and the way forward. the prob with religion is which religion is correct? they all claim to be the word of God. I must say that it really fascinated me when i recently read an islamic book which mentions scientific facts revealed by God to prophets and long before they were discovered by science, eg that mountains have pegs, oceans have 3 types of light, an embryo develops into a foetus after 24 weeks etc as evidence of a Creator.

It may be fair to say both; Science tells us how, religion tells us why

Science helps to explain religion.

I think religion definitely has more truth. It's a fact that science is always changing. Theories are all the time proving themselves wrong, or they have to have changes made to them to still fit into our lives. The Bible however, has never changed, and applies to our lives just as much if not more now than ever. The Bible has been tested and tried to be proved wrong for years. But every time science ends up proving It more right and proving their own theories wrong.

I would have to say that it all depends on what truth you are looking for!
If you are looking for truth about God then I would say that religion is where you can find truth! If you are looking for truth about the earth I would say that science would be where you can find truth!
