Why do most People tend to believe Illegals do not pay Tax?

Why is it Most people tend to believe illegals do not pay tax? I have never received a paycheck without tax deductions on it, All items I buy at Walmart, McDonalds, Fiesta, KMart always have tax amount on them, My car was bought in USA so my profit counts in that company and gas stations that I visit daily, it had tax on it.

I did not steal anybody's SSC. I got my ssc, but later overstayed my visa..

I believe we pay taxes equally with us nationals.

Because you need a visa to work here legally if you are not a citizen, in which case you will pay tax. I don't know how you are legally working at a job where you pay your taxes if you do not have a Visa or a social security number. Most illegal immigrants cannot work anywhere without these documents, and so they get cash-paying jobs... and don't have to pay taxes obviously.

You may pay taxes for retail products that is contributing to these companies NOT our government.....most illegal aliens come to the US for a better life. But there are the others who come here to have their children and are able to stay here in our country because of their children. Then they just end up on welfare draining those of us who really do pay taxes from our legitmate jobs!!! Yes, I guess you can say I am bitter I have a friend who recently lost her job and ended up applying for state benefits. I went with her for support and needless to say the majority of people in that office were mexican with 3 or more children and their children were translating......this is why I personally believe what I believe. Proof is in the puddin.......

undocumented do you pay tax's? what social security number do you use? do you file your tax returns at the end of the year?all of us pay tax's when we pay for everything we buy. we also pay tax's in Mexico when we visit and buy stuff there. But does that mean that we can get social services like medical, food stamps next to free housing with little or no cost. I don't think so. But if you want to file your tax's call the social security department and get a number that you can use like a ss# for banking and working, and filing your tax's

The first answer you got says it all. A lot of them get paid in cash so they do not have to claim the income and neither does the employer. Good for you. I am glad you have a legit job.

Ignorance.They don't WANT to believe that illegals pay taxes.They want to believe that illegals are only a drain on our society by recieving welfare,foodstamps ,wic.
They also WANT to believe that all illegals in this country came across the border illegally instead of coming legally with visas and then allowing those visas to expire.

because its not tax on items, its federal taxes that you don't pay. social security, school taxes, income taxes. its cheating the system. everyone pays grocery tax.

Because alot of people are racist whinners who do nothing but ***** about everything. Alot of people don't actually pay taxes and needless to say that they are not illegals. There are U.S citizens who infact i know who are native born that do floors,landscaping, and other jobs under the table and "PAY NO TAXES" One great thing about this country is that some like myself fight for our rights and to keep our country safe and free. because,you have to have a social security number to have income tax, taken out of your check.if your illegal,and you have one, you stole someone esles number.
