Do you realize that mother Teresa died with Millions in the bank?
This little old woman was surrounded by starving and diseased people and was sitting on a fortune, not spending a dime of it to help them. She gave it all to the catholic church for them to spend on more gold and emerald decorations and slaries for pedophiles.. She like other people involved with religion was filled with greed. Not monetary or material greed, but she enjoyed the attention.
So thats your answer. Greed.

In the congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses, No collection plates are passed in Kingdom Halls or at assemblies. No solicitations for funds are sent to individuals. No fund-raisers are hired. Normally, "The Watchtower" has just one article a year explaining how those who so desire can make contributions to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society in order to support the worldwide work. There is no regular mention of Society finances in Awake! How, then, has the enormous worldwide work of preaching the good news, building necessary Kingdom Halls, caring for those in special full-time service, and giving aid to Christians in need been accomplished? Jehovah has blessed his people in a wonderful way with a spirit of generosity. (2Â Cor. 8:2) Jehovah will continue to bless all the arrangements made for the expansion of the worldwide work.
Currently, the Witnesses distribute Bibles, Christian books, and other publications in 235 lands. "The Watchtower", a Bible educational magazine, initially had a monthly distribution of 6,000 copies printed in one language. It has since become a semimonthly magazine with a printing of more than 24,000,000 copies available in 150 languages. To organize their global Bible education work, the Witnesses have built or acquired administrative centers in 110 countries. In addition, they have constructed thousands of local meeting places as well as large assembly halls to accommodate those interested in receiving further Bible instruction.
While caring for people’s spiritual needs is a priority, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not neglect the material needs of fellow believers. When their brothers suffer the effects of wars, earthquakes, droughts, and storms, they are quick to provide medical supplies, food, clothing, and other necessities. These are financed by donations made by individual Christians and by congregations.
As well as being effective, contributing on a voluntary basis takes a load off the shoulders of those with limited means.
The Lord’s work does not depend on tithes. In fact, tithing is no longer a Scriptural requirement. Christians are blessed when they give generously but that they are not obliged to give beyond their means.

I am a Latter-day Saint, (Mormon) we don't have a paid ministry. We as members to everything ourselves, even down to cleaning our own meetinghouses. We also pay tithing, which is 10% of our income to the Chruch, and we also pay a fast-offering everymonth to help the poor and needy. Not all Christian churches are selfish and self serving.

Is that what you're waiting for - to get paid? Some of us are already involved in unpaid ministry and have been for a long time.

Read 1Corinthians chapter nine and Galatians 6:6.
But, thank you for your opinion.
Obviously, you should stop belly-aching, study what you want to complain about, and do your own duty.
And my father and mother were married.
