Yes but DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) usually manifests itself two days later but could come that soon.Unlike what most people think this is caused by micro trauma which is tearing of the muscle. This is the basis of hypertrophy and necessary for growth.I've been lifting for 22 years and push myself hard every time I lift so it has nothing to do with not being used to the work.
The soreness is most definitely not lactic acid. That's the burn you feel during exercise and soon leaves once proper circulation returns. The lactic acid does not remain in the muscle very long.

Yep, especially if you haven't done this before. If you're sore when you've been doing them for awhile, this just means you're pushing yourself. When you work out a muscle group with weights, it's important to give them the next day off, and maybe work some other muscles instead.
Every time you work some muscles, give them the next day off for recovery. Hot tubs work for soreness, and so does ibuprofen.

If you are not feeling even a little bit of pain, you are not acomplishing anything. Even experienced weight lifters have muscle soreness the next day. If you are a beginner, you may have more.

I have to say, if you wake up feeling sore, then you must have given your body a great feeling. Keep up the good work, but don't over do it. Try not to work the same area everyday, instead opt to do that every other day.

yes, it's very normal. Your muscles aren't used to the exercise. So, you'll be sore the next day. After your body gets used to the exercise, you'll no longer feel the soreness.

Yes it is normal but a person needs to drink a lot of water before working out and before getting a deep tissue massage. It will help prevent soreness.

If you do training your body's not used to, then you can expect to feel sore and stiff the next day. But if you do if often you will get used to it and therefore not feel pain the day after.

Yes, if he's a beginner, or if he has just changed the routine, or increased weight or reps, or both. No, if he's more experienced, or has been doing the moves for a long time.
