every day, for as long as i can remember, in my 25 years, my nose has bled at least once a day. i have seen many doctors as a child, and three general doctors, 2 ENTs in the last six years.
according to each of them, i'm having an imaginary problem. which puzzles me, because i constantly have bloody tissue paper in my trash bags.
so, ignoring them, what could possibly cause this chronic nosebleed, and what could i do to possibly remedy the situation. i already know what to do during a nosebleed, i've had well over 7000 of them.
i do not participate in any sports. my stress level is minimal. i eat decently, and i drink watered down gatorade

i'm not sure why people are saying to see a doctor/specialist, or why i might be told how to handle a nosebleed. i don't think those people read the question.
i have seen three general doctors and 2 ENTs. one of the ENTs said that if my problem wasn't my imagination, cauterization would be the path to go, but that i don't need it

You have thin arterial walls that break easily. A doctor can cauterize that for you using a chemical they paint into your nose. Had that done for my daughter at age 4 and she hasn't had that problem since.

Do you have allergies to dust? When I stay in hotel rooms that aren't clean, my nose gets dry and I get nosebleeds sometimes from lack of proper housekeeping. Gross, hey? If I sleep at someone's house that has cats, I know I'll automatically wake up with a nosebleed.
If it's a possibility that you do, replace your pillows once a year at least, clean your sheets etc. once a week, and vaccuum your mattress when the sheets are in the washing machine. Make sure you keep your bedroom dust-free.
You might also have too much dryness going on. See if you can find a nasal irrigation system at the drugstore, or get one of those mini turkey baster things they use to suck mucus out of babies' noses when they have colds. Either follow the directions on the irrigation system if you find one, or fill the turkey baster with 1tsp salt in 1litre of water and gently squirt that up your nose, let most of it drain out, and hopefully you'll sleep with a nice moist nose that won't bleed.
Try the above, and if that doesn't work, consult an allergist. They may be able to help you more.

sometimes the membrains in your nose gets dry and causes it to bleed...Most nosebleeds begin in the lower part of the septum, the semi-rigid wall that separates the two nostrils of the nose.. any of the following lubricating creams or ointments. They can all be purchased without a prescription: Bacitracin, A and D Ointment, Eucerin, Polysporin, and Vaseline. Up to three applications a day may be needed, but usually every night at bedtime is enough. A saline nasal spray will also moisten dry nasal membranes.this ahould help .. but if it dont see another doctor...

I used to have this problem as a child..the doctors told my parents that I would always have frequent nosebleeds because my arteries were so close to the surface....they could cauterize them.....they never did and the problem stopped..but I think Heinz answered the question about his daughter above.

I had the same problem when I was younger. It wasn`t as bad as yours seems to be,however it did bleed a lot and just out of nowhere for no obvious reason.Esspecially when I took a hot shower it bled a lot.I don`t think I ever saw a Doctor for it,but it finally went away on its own.I still don`t know what caused it.I wish I could tell you how to keep them from happening, but perhaps they will eventually go away as mine did.

Geeze! I was going to say see a doctor because I had some when I was pregnant and it turned out to be an errant capillary. I just don't know what to tell you because I know how big a pain it is to keep going to doctors who keep saying there's nothing wrong as you suffer. Try ice?

This is gona sound weird, but if you wet a ear bud and lightly wipe it around the nostril, that might help. You might be getting nose bleeds because the nostrils are very dry.

Do you have low or thin blood? If so, you need a higher iron intake. Try eating raisens, greens, or any and all foods high in iron, and perhaps take a iron supplement; of course I would discuss this with my dr. first.
