I agree with autumnshades, PEANUT OIL (a monosaturate oil that is stable and doesn't get smoky and make the food smell weird) is the best to use. This is what French chefs use.

The only thing that could beat that would be to take chicken breasts and cut them into thin strips and sautee them in butter -- very time consuming and very expensive.

To deep fry use Canola or Vegetable oil.

According to Paula Deen (The Goddess of Southern Cooking) peanut oil is the best. More expensive, but will give you better flavor!

i use vegetable oil and the cheap walmart kind works the same as the expensive stuff

Any oil and add a tablespoon of butter to it.

It really has a great flavor.
