I don't drink, smoke or do any recreational drugs. I was rear-ended twice since Feb 21st and have been going to a chiropractor ever since. I have a lot of knots in my neck.

I won't go to the hospital or a doctor for anything anymore because when I do there is never anything wrong, or they say it is a viral thing and they can't do anything anyway.

If you are getting no relief from over-the-counter medications (by the way, excedrin contains caffeine, which can make matters worse if you are experiencing caffeine withdrawal headache or are sensitive to caffeine -- temporary improvement followed by worsening of symptoms). I would call or see your family doctor or internist or consider an urgent care visit. If you have any other additional symptoms, you should go to the Emergency Room. This could just be a headache, but there are many other more serious things this could be symptomatic of, depending on your age and general health. For instance, have you had an eye exam lately? There are many other possibilities. Consult a physician.

This could be caused by many things. How is your caffine intake, to much can cause headaches. Do you have allergies? It could be a sinus or ear infection. I would suggest NOT taking to many different medications, somethings don't mix well. Maybe it is stress, try doing something that is very relaxing. Try a hot or cold compress on your head or neck. Try massaging the palms of your hands and the bottoms of your feet, they both have pressure points that help to relieve pain. Good Luck, I'm sorry you are not feeling well.

Could still be a migraine. I took the Excedrin stuff and it worked for a while and then it wouldn't do anything. I had to get something from the doc. Taking too much medicine too soon in time can cause it as well.

first, but obvious: your body is trying to tell you something.
that might be: lack of sleep, lack of food, lack of hydration, lack of fresh air, stiff muscles, overdose alcohol...

do you have an idea? the problem with medicaments/drugs is they require knowledge of what's wrong.

do you have headaches often? write down the time, duration and where the headache sits. then see a doctor.

What I'd do now: take a long walk for fresh air, eat a meal (not just a tiny little snack), drink something (non alcoholic) and go to bed or watch a movie.

Try diet or lifestyle changes maybe. Do you drink, smoke do do drugs etc? More sleep can help. Tension in your head also may be a cause. I get rid of my migraines by getting in the dark and letting my eyes relax.

Take 2 migrane medicines with 2 tylenol. Then get a heating pad/warm wash cloth and lay on the couch and drape it over your eyes. Maybe you have slept too much. Try exersizing to get the blood going again.

If it has to do with nasal congestion, taking a decongestant will help.
Had that for many years.
