there is a restaurant called the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY. One day the owners, I think it was Theresa was looking for a snack to serve the customers, they had wings in the freezer. She made them and served them and they became I hit.

And for a few years they could only be found in Buffalo, hence the name Buffalo Wings.

What disturbed me when they came out was chicken fingers. All I could think was people eating those scrawny toes.

Chicken wings are only called buffalo wings when prepared with buffalo sauce, not all chicken wings are buffalo wings. Chicken wings when not served buffalo style are called chicken wings.
