You need a DVD burning software to burn DVDs

DVD Shrink is FREE download.

You would probably need to save that file from Real Player or Media Player to your hard drive. There are no options on those programs to rip and burn DVDs.

Well, you will need a software program to burn video files on to a DVD or CD. But, it is going to cost you some money. The two most popular burning sofware are from Nero and Roxio. Each suite will cost you $100 USD. Yeah, it is expensive. However, Nero has a free 30-day trial period in which you can test their software before committing. Roxio is cheap and doesn't have a free trial version.

There is another factor that you need to consider. Most standalone DVD players, like the one in your living room, can not play Real Player video. The problem is the movie's file type. Most DVD players can only play movies using the MPEG-2 standard. Playing the movie on your computer is no problem since most DVD drives can play several file types.
