We'll never know for sure. In his time it would have been very unusual for a man of his age to have been single.

No, He was never married because that wasn't the job He
was called to do. There are many other writings around that
time. The most famous one is written by Josephus. There
is no evidence that Jesus was married, and yes, even a
secular person can prove He existed--just as it can be proven
that Shakespeare existed.

Christians simply believe that He rose again--and there is much
historical evidence for that, too.

It is wrong to assume anything more than what God has told us in his written word -- that one written word is the Bible. To believe more or to believe less than what God has said is not "believing" it is disbelief. It does not honor God for who he is because he is only who HE says he is. There is only one true God and his son Jesus Christ --- any other belief is not based on the Bible and therefore is not from God. The word of God came to us first in the form of his son --- the man Jesus Christ born of a virgin (fulfilling dozens of prophecies that had been written throughout history by men that walked with God)
Next the word of God is written in a believers heart by the indwelling of the holy spirit. Then; we have the hard-copy -- the Bible. It gives us everything we need to know about Jesus. Was he married???? Not to Mary Magdelene as blashphemously stated in the Davinci Code.

....and NOT YET.

He will be "married" -- to His church. The church (the entire body of believers) will become his Bride. Not in the way fallen-man knows "bride and groom" but in a much more magnificent manner devoid of the depravation and misery as known in this life. God will take us all home to live forever in his grace and mercy.

To the person who said the Bible is a story: Have you ever read the entire book? To those that don't know God, yes the bible remains just a story but once you know him and know Jesus as a personal friend you will know the Bible for what it really is ----- history, present day truth, AND your future all written in one book. --- Yesterday, today and forever Jesus is the same.

The bible is a story. If Lord of the Rings was written at the same time, would there be people worshipping Gandalf the White without being laughed at?

Jesus alledgedly married his mother

There is no evidence what so ever to even suggest he was.
Of course it would not really matter if he was, The bible gives us his ministry life, not his childhood, very little about Joseph and Mary but about his adult life doing ministry. But since it mentions visiting Peters mother in law, I would almost guess if he was it would mention it.

There was a few months ago some stories about it, but they came from a novel book and a novel movie that too many people confused with facts.

Read your Bible...NO..he was NEVER married. If you are referring to The Davinci Code...it IS a fictional book, where the author made stuff up. He never expected it to get as blown out of proportion as it has recently. To view it as a source of discrepencies in the Bible is absurd.

No. His life was recorded in the Bible. He had no wife. That wasn't His calling. His calling on Earth was to pave the way for redemption with his shed blood, not to marry and procreate.

Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you. For many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah.' They will lead many astray. And wars will break out near and far, but don't panic. Yes, these things must come, but the end won't follow immediately. The nations and kingdoms will proclaim war against each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come. Many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But those who endure to the end will be saved.
