my little lads called maximus blade ok i no its un usual name and weried but what do u think not many people like it i call him max for short though.Do you think it will effect him when he goes to school cause you no what kids are like these days for bulling

Are you saying that's his real name? Is that a nickname? Either way.. He's probably better off going by "Joe" or something like that. You're dead right when you suggested how cruel kids can be. And Maximus Blade just won't fly in any part of grade school

Perhaps that question is a little late!! I think it's quite dashing but as you say it is unusual. More fitting for a film star than a little boy at school. It depends now how you handle things, he should be able to feel he can hold his head high.

why call him maximus wen you call him max for short thats a bit silly why not just call the poor cjild max in the first place then there would nt be talk of bullying or silly names

I honestly do think that it WILL affect him in school. No kid who has a name like that will get away from the bullies! You could always change his name before he starts school!! Save him the pain, he'll only blame you for it anyway...

If I were you I would register him as Max, don't make life hard for him at school. One day he may be proud to tell everyone his very distinctive name himself. I look forward to hearing his name when he is famous.

Were you still under some type of anesthesia or sedation when you named him? That poor kid is gonna get "crucified" for that one. You should be ashamed of yourself for doing that to him.

Max Blade is good, it sounds strong.... as long as they dont think he's too tough ! Send him to karate lessons and live up to his name!!!!!!
