He has his own bed in my house and is treated as a member of the Family, in fact hes the reall Boss in my house Since we got him as a pup he has been living more like a human than a dog..

That's how my cat acts. actually, we make jokes saying that he thinks when he grows up he'll be like mum and dad (me and my husband). But I think they are not really so stupid, it's just that they have an arrangement with humans, but not a similar one with other animals. They realize humans are different, they are beyond animal rules. My recently adopted dog, who was stray, has the same behaviour.

With dogs eyesight I dont think he's actually watching TV...but probably just looking in the direction of the noise. He growls at other animals to try to put them in their place...not that he thinks he's a human, but rather just that he thinks he's a tougher animal and he's going to protect his property and his family. If he thought he was human he probably wouldnt obey you very well...instead he recognizes that you are master. Still, there is nothing wrong with treating dogs like a true member of the family; we always have. But if you think he's acting too human start putting him in check....for example, if he changes the channel because he doesnt like what you're watching!

no that is normal my dog does that all the time he might think they are real and try to protect you or they just want to play.
