if you use the chesnut to esspresso for brunettes it should, i have medium/dark brown hair and after one week of using it everyday, made my hair a nice choclate brown shade, and shiny and just-from-the-salon-soft. but you should only use a nickel sized amt or ur hair will be oily

Yes it makes it a richer glossy color - but keep in mind it takes time for it to build up. You might have to buy a few bottles to maintain it as well. I wouldn't color your hair again - just give it a rest - I love this glaze - I use it when I'm trying to grow my hair out and still maintain the shiny glossy hair. I know what you mean about the brassiness - it sucks - nobody wants orang-y hair! Keep in mind it doesn't make it TOTALLY dark - it is just a shading (slight color)

To avoid brassiness, don't use dyes that say "golden" on them. Using an "ash" tint will help you avoid brassiness in future dying endeavours. If I were you, I would buy a grey-hair shampoo. These are usually dark purple in color, and the purple works to counteract the yellow tones in your hair.

maybe a little but you should prolly just get it fixed by your stylist i think it mostly just makes your hair shiny and soft and makes the color you have look more vibrant
