I personally wouldn't mix ham with cream of chicken soup..the broccoli topped with stuffing sounds nice though. Why don't you put the ham into a slight mixture of brown sugar and butter..just glaze it.

Put your shredded cheese into the broccoli instead.

Chop the ham in diced pieces and brown them in
2 Tbls olive oil with
1/2 cup diced onion (may add 2 cloves of garlic finely minced)

Boil a sauce pan of water with 1 Tbls salt and add fresh broccoli for 3 minutes. If using frozen broccoli skip this step. This is called blanching.

Place 1/2 of the stuffing in a small baking pan add the soup and 1/2 can of milk then top with the ham and onions.
Add the broccoli and sprinkle with
1/2 cup grated Parmesan (can use grated cheddar).
Then add the rest of the stuffing.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until stuffing is slightly browned.

This dish would be much better with chicken breasts and/or thighs browned with the ham and onions and then finished cooking in the oven with the rest of the ingredients.

Use Cream of Celery, Cream of Mushroom, Cream of Broccoli OR Cheese Soup instead......NOT CHICKEN!

I would have the cream of chicken soup by itself but the rest sounds great!

as long as the ham is not smothered in the coc than it sounds fine, use it as a sauce.

mmmmm.... That sound really good. Either way, whether you have the cheese in there or not, it still sounds good.
