I took an online test an it said I have a 135 I.Q. But I don't really believe it, is there a reputable sight where I can take another shot?

The range of average is 85 to 115, low average to high average on the Wechsler Scales, the most commonly used and respected IQ tests. The on line tests tend to score 10 or 15 points high (probably to get you hooked on doing them and paying for them) but that means that 135 is still pretty good. So you are a smart person and should do well in life. More important than the number of your IQ score is what you do with it.

IQ tests are all based on a normal curve.
The exact middle is 100. But 66% of people fall within the range of 85 to 115. And 95% are supposed fall within 70 and 130.
As for an online IQ test, I wouldnt put much faith in the answer. If you really want to know your IQ you'd probably have to pay to take the test and get an analysis of the results. But dont hand out your money unless you know the place is legit.

An average IQ is 100. I know that mine is a bit above 130. I took an online test through Tickle.com and it put me at almost the same thing.

Average IQ is 90-110. If you really want to know your IQ don't do online tests, do Mensa test. Every online test I've done was just too easy compared to Mensa test I've done, and what's most important, online tests are usually not real IQ test but contain questions with words or numbers. Mensa test is strictly graphical!

WOW. 135 is really good. Average would be somewhere around 90-100's I guess? Mine was 119...=(

100 is average. Online tests are for amusement only. For an accurate test, it must be administered in a controlled setting and then compared to a large sample for statistcal accuracy. Contact a psychiatrist or for $30 you can take one from Mensa.

I got 138 on tickles classic IQ test, I guess 100 is average, I don't really know how much I trust any of those tests either.

Mensa administer supervised IQ tests which are very accurate. No matter what IQ you have what you make of it is more important.
