I have some photos of CDs that the flash reflected off the cds and created a white spot on the photos.

Roxio Easy Media Creator. It's got everything inclusing PhotoSuite 8. It's a Photoshop program. It's worth it. Try setting the settings on your cam too..Photoshop helps you but only a little bit.

Like The Keeper said, all information for those areas in the picture was lost. Or actually, it was never recorded in the first place. Software can't help to recover that.
If the actual CDs aren't important, and you're just trying to get rid of the white spots, you CAN use an image editor to fill those spots in.

There is no such soft in the whole world my friend, once they are burned they are gone. Try to pay attention next time, or buy a decent camera, don't be cheap!

many photo graphic programs allow adjusting for this problem, but for over exposure don't except to much, this is very hard to do anything for!
