Jesus Christ...

Psalm 9:9 (Whole Chapter)
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

Psalm 16:1
Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.

Psalm 18:30
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 25:20
Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

Psalm 34:8
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 34:22
The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.

..I could go on...find peace in God.

Refuge is a hard thing, and not to be undertaken lightly. The best thing to do is analyze WHO YOU ARE.

Once you have a glimmering of an idea you can look into the huge amount of religions out there and make a choice. Experience the religion for a while by going to a gathering and then if this sounds like someplace you would like to make a commitment to do it. But never lightly, your faith in a higher power is something to be nurtured and tentatively explored, not squandered in pointless zealotry as you see too frequently now with people supposedly belonging to a religion and not adhering to its basic principles.

I believe ina God, a higher power who shaped the universe and gave the spark of life unto it, I believe he in his infinite wisdom gave us the ability to evolve and adapt to his grand plan and the ability to reason to fully enjoy and experience his other creations. But the choice is yours, God or a higher power can be worshiped in many different ways and it is your choice as to what face of God you wish to glorify.

This is dependent on your personality and what you are seeking refuge from. It may be that you need support from a church group or people there in or sometimes quiet reflexion and research into the belief you have.

Only in God. I call Him Krishna and in other religions He is called Jehovah, Allah, Ja etc. There is one God with unlimited names. This material world is the perverted reflection of the spiritual world - there is everything nice; here not so nice or even bad. You can go on with similar dualities. So the ultimate shelter for your soul is in the spiritual world in the association of God. His place you can attain only if you develop your love for Him. On the website "The Hare Krishna Views On Science there is an interesting essay that proves the existence of God and His spiritual abode through syllogisms. To develop your faith I would advice you to read that interesting essay.

To God. Give me your location, and I may be able to find you a place where you can get your questions answered.

I believe I understand your question. The answer is to disavow your soul. You have no soul. It works.
