My sophomore year i had a mjor crush on this guy who sat behind me in numerous classes. i started to like him i would flirt ALOT! i was told that he liked me also but wasnt sure what to believe. and now i hear he has broken into peoples houses, what should i do should i contiune on liking hoping he might like me back or just let him be and let him ruin his own life.

Sorry to hear , this guy is not the guy you thought he was. Give him up, unless he gets down on his knee's and promises he will not commit any more crimes. If he is past 30 years old , he will not change. He is what we call Jail bait. You don't want to commit yourself and possibly have children with him, if he spends lots of his time in jail. Jail bait will never change. He is dishonest and don't even go there. He will cause you lots of un-happy days.

you need to come to him as a friend if you want to try and help, although it would be easier as a girlfriend or in that way caring as a friend would be the best thing if they are really breaking the law and make shure it's not rumors
