Longer than what? When you go, you go.

Will it help improve your health? Yes, with the operative word being "help". It won't do much good if you're smoking a pack and drinking a bottle a day.

As for the wobbly legs, that is probably a good sign, but it is hard to say without seeing you in person. Pose this question to your teacher rather than on the Internet.

Lastly, a word of advice: forms are important, but you absolutely must keep up your meditation. (I hope your instruction in tai chi includes meditation. If not, this will gravely limit your progress.)

I think staying active doing ANYTHING will make you live longer. Also, about the wobbly legs im sure its natural for the first couple of times, your body needs to adjust to things.

If you are already 120 years old then I highly doubt anything would make you live longer. Those wobbly legs are due to old age.

Yes, I believe it can if you do it every day. It helps blood circulate to all parts of your body and helps you to breath.
The wobbly legs are because you are using muscles that you are not used to using. The stances take a while to get down and if it hrts at first then you're probably doing it right.
Good luck and have fun with it.

Not necessarily. Longevity according to the Vedic wisdom depend on religiosity or irreligiosity. The former might live longer and the second less because of his/her sinful, unhealthy and immoral lifestyle. There are many points to be explained here but the space and my time are limited.

Yes it is the best, you will be transported to new worlds also. Don't do it if you are not ready for the trip! You might have wobbly privates too!

it is supposed to give you better balance and to be more
limber. you probably should try to get a teacher to work
with you a few times as you will not get the full beneit
if you are not doing it right. anything that is active and
gives you better tone will not only help you live longer, but
help you feel better at the same time.

Yeah. Any form of excercise improves your health and the emotional benefits add to this extending your natural life--unless you walk into an oncoming truck. Not much to help with that.

Not any longer than a regular good work out.
