Girls do not need instant chemistry.. make her feel good, enjoy the time you spend together, pay her attention and be interested in her - for women/girls the chemistry can grow and need not be instantaneous..
Often it boils down to the way a bloke makes ya feel..meaning ofcourse it can also work the other way too.. when a spark that is there in the first place gets snuffed out when she realises the bloke is a daftie or not what she thought..

if you expect it to last, then yes. chemistry is very, very important if you want to have something that can stand the test of time.
