well i'm not english mother tongue, but it sounds weird to me, gay girl? is it the same like lesbian or what?

The term "gay" just means "attracted to the same sex". Most of the time, it's used to refer to men who are homosexual, but it can also be used for women who are lesbians.
So, yes, women can be gay, men can be gay, they are gay, he is gay, she is gay, we're all gay!

well yes it means the same as lesbian unless u use it like she is really happy that is what it sometimes what it means
