This is just a guess but I would say your girl friend was not much of a friend, at least to you.

Of course she put herself on the line a bit to get you that interview but that should not have been reason to leave. However if she lied about you and you went in and proved her wrong well.........

Not your fault.......just the way it is.
You are better off. You didn't know her as well as you thought.

No but he's better off anyway. If thats enough reason for her to dump him she was never really in it for love anyway so she has done him a favor by letting him go to find someone who really does care about him. He should consider himself lucky that he found out now what she is really about.

It is a thinly disguised excuse to get rid of the boyfriend. She's probably too much of a coward to give him the real reason. Have a feeling it was probably the last straw for her.

Depends. Does he sit at home all day and refuse to jobhunt? Or has he already got a job and she wants him to get one that she prefers?

guess if you dumped for that reason, you weren't into him that much.
Sorry, seems like a lame reason for me. And yeah, I agree with the dude over there... you are not his mother, so don't pretend to be one.

Since you're asking ... it would depend on why the b/f failed the interview and how mean the g/f was!

It may be; but you know what? Why would you want a g/f that was that fickle? Do yourself a favor and let it be; get yourself another g/f who doesn't want you for your position in life and doesn't want to control you.
