No, not a devil as most people know him. The real devil is an angel working for God, to strengthen people's faith. He is not evil per se. He is an angel with a horrible job. His job is to reveal the worst faults in any person and try to play on them. God gives him points for every time the human fails. That angel is so tired of his job and must be pitied! He should have retired by now! But we all know, God is merciless. Poor Devil!

There is God for all of us and there is no Devil.
Devil is only an expression used by habit when
things go wrong. Some do believe in a Devil but
these are probably non-believers. I do not use the
word "heathen" because I do not think there exits
anyone who is not a believer. However, there are
those that I call "innocent" since they just do not
know better. You will find "Devil" in the dictionary
but that does not bring any status to an existing
creature be it physical or myth. If you really wish
an explanation you could consider "ungodly"?

Zarathustra has no idea what he started... Somebody made the remark that people with no love for god can be pushed by the devil to do evil things (I rephrased it a bit). To me, worst crimes ever have been perpetrated by religious groups (spanish inquisition, hasjashin, crusades, ertez israel, arian supremacists, muslim fanatics, etc...) If I were the devil, I would invent a (preferably) monotheistic religion, so I can sit back and enjoy people doing all my work (for free).

Not necessarily. It really depends on what you mean by "There is a god"

If you mean, there is some divine entity that was the first cause, then no, that doesn't logically lead into there existing an entity known as a devil. If by "There is God" you mean "Everything in the bible is true" (because by saying there is god, we mean the Christian god exists) then... well now we get complicated, because the bible is somewhat contradictory. But if "popular christian mythology" is true, then yes, there is a devil.

Most religions are dualistic, that is, there ar two opposing forces: the force of good, and a force for evil. How could good exist if there were no opposite? So if you believe in a Christian god, you will also believe in Satan or the devil. If you are not a believer, then the opposite of good may be bad or evil, but it is not personified.

There is A god and there is a devil. God wants everyone to go to Heaven by being obedient to Him through faith and love, as a child is to a good parent. But Satan, already being condemned, is like a kamikaze; he knows he's going to burn and he wants to take as many of us with him as he can. That's why he wants us to be disobedient to God.
I hope you find what you're looking for. God loves you.

Of course. They are real. Why do you think people do all the evil things that they do - why do you think people have it in their minds that God is not real - commit crimes etc. The devil works just as much and hard as God does - if not more, trying to get people on his side.
