how do you know if your the only one sacrificing things and doing your best make the other person happy?

Does she make you happy. As long as you can tell that she is at least doing all she can then its okay, but if you dont see any effort on her side, then you need to talk about it, communication is very vital in a relationship.

For me its.,..
If you have made it verbally known what your needs are (and those needs are reasonable) and in turn those needs are never met, or the other person does not even attempt to meet them....then they are far from trying.
Not everyone has 100% to give all of the time...I think that's asking a bit much. Also I am a firm believer that we create our own happiness....the ones we love just get to share in our happiness!

when you feel like teh other one isnt exerting himself/herself to make you feel happy and content, when he/she doesnt show that he/she loves you, when the person you're with doesnt give you the affection he/she used to give you once..when he/she doesnt seem to be interested in the thing you do or the way you feel..then you recognize thet you're the only one who sacrifices things

The thing is that you will need to talk about it or the relationship will wither.
