clearly you have romantic feelings for her tell her how you feel either it be calling, flowers or anything that your good at and if she feels the same way in return suprise her with you showing up but dont go 8000 out of the way to get shot down by love. make sure what you both fell is legitimate (spelling) and hope for the best

I was in this situation. My boyfriend (soul mate, if you believe in that) went to study in Europe for a year. We had been together for 3 years and were planning on getting married. We were SO in love. I decided to use that year to define who I was without him. I needed to be myself and make sure that I was established as an individual before committing to a life-long partnership. He was supposed to return in June, but "surprised" me by returning unannounced in March. He arrived at my apartment and was basically like "Here I am." I felt smothered by this. We tried to work it out for another 8 months, but went separate ways because I felt that he didn't respect me enough to let me be myself without him.

So, GIVE HER SPACE!!! Let her know you care (send flowers, or something meaningful) but do not just show up!

It sounds like a wonderfully romantic gesture. However, I would make sure she is unattached before I go through all the trouble. If you do decide to do it, I wish you all the luck in the world, she is lucky to have someone as special as you!

Yeah you should bu don call her surpise her.. thats makes us feel even better.. because if you call her theyll be expecting you.. just call and say hi and stuff and then someday close you go and visit her... (o it would also help if you bring her something... a teddy bear.. even a rose would do)

It might be a bit wierd if you turn up on her doorstep 8000 miles away. Call her instead.

I am fighting for what I want, and I believe that anything really worth it to you is going to be a fight to get it. I say go for it, and the best of luck to you!

Well, if you're sure she's the one, then go for it, by all means! Happiness is something you must chase, it doesn't just happen to you! If you feel love, then LOVE her.

However, HOWEVER, you should protect your heart (and hers as well). Ask her if you can visit her first.
