I just got my puppy's AKC pedigree in today :-) How do I look up to see if any dog in her line was a champion or titled?

Ok- I was just SO stupid for not looking on the back of the pedigree for the explanation :-P
One set of great grandparents were champions. We got her from a small non-competitive/show breeder (and saw both parents), but were curious about her ancestry since she's been SO easy to train (she trained to the automatic litter box within a week) and her coat/body are SO beautiful. I'm in Puppy love :-P

If you got an AKC pedigree, it will tell you what dogs are titled with the AKC, inculding Champions. If there is a three or four generation pedigree and you see no dogs that have CH. in front of the name, there are no Champions.
If you just got a registration paper, and did not get an actual pedigree, order a pedigree from the AKC and it will tell you. There is no need to research, it should be listed in plain sight!!!!

If you got the pedigree from AKC, the
dogs with champion titles will be in red.
Dogs without a ch title will be printed in
black. There will be a CH. in front of the
dog's name, if it is a champion.
Other titles, such as obedience titles will be
in back of the dog's name.
