The teachers at my daughter's school are going on strike. Should I make her go to class?

Depends if I'm a teacher of a student.

If I'm a teacher I'd probably make up my mind about it, give it some consideration and most likely join the strike.

If I was a student I'd try to see if my teacher is on strike. If my teahcer is on strike, why would I bother going to class.
If my teacher is not on strike, I'd consider going to class because I'd be afraid my parents would kill me if I didn't.

After your comment: depending how old and responsible your daugther is. I was a very good student. I'd have really apreciated it if my parents wouldn't pressure me so much. Missing one class, or even a week of school wouldn't affect my education. Recognizing this, and also recognizing that I'm responcible for my own action would have a much stronger effect.

Yep, because I'm not a member of the Teacher's Union.
