I also hate doing laundry only because the machine was in the basement. Get her machines that are easily accessible. Does she have a place to put the laundry when its folded? If not go to the dollar store and hang everything I even hang T shirts buy lots of hangers. Buy nice smelling detergents and good bleach. Set up your ironing board where the machines and hangers and table are get a chair so she has a place to sit and a radio or something make it enjoyable and she will do the job. Laundry for eight wow lots of laundry.

Tell her to get the heck up!
I have 6 kids and I do 2-3 loads a day,cook ,clean,and I have a part-time job.
2 things I hate the most are liars and laziness.
Maybe she could show the kids how to help.Mine do.Even the 5 yr old has a chore(sweeping and fill up the dog's bowls w/food and water)

If she is living with you KICK HER OUT. dump the dirty clothes on her bed everyday, all of the clothes, until she starts understanding to wash them. Dont wash her clothes ever. Call Department of Social services and have the kids taken away from her is she is neglectful. Dont let her eat any food in the house or use anything in the house until she washes some clothes (if she lives with you and you dont have the guts to kick her out).

Have the kids learn to do their own laundry and have everyone work as a team to wash everyone's clothes EXCEPT for mommy's (since she's being lazy). Let her clothes pile up until she has nothing left to wear.
Make it clear to her that she's setting a poor example as a mother and leave her to do her own clothes.

Does she neglect her children in other ways? Or does she just have something agaisnt doing luandry? If she just doesnt like washing clothing, let her be. If she is neglecting her children in other ways, call the police and report the neglect/abuse.

Get her out of the house to get a job...bring in a nanny! Or
do it yourself if you are the husband...be sure she gets out
and gets a job if she does not want to do hers at home!

Depends why she doesnt do it and if there are any other aspects of neglect.
Poss she needs some family support.

report her to CPS because chances are that if she neglects that aspect of life then there is probably more neglect happening behind closed doors.
