Show her love and affection. Be hers for the evening. Make her a nice meal and spend time talking with each other.

A surprise weekend away in a lovely 4 or 5 star hotel with flowers, chocolates and champagne waiting for her in the room hmmm!
Or a day at a health spa where she will be pampered with sauna, jacuzzi, facials aromatherapy massage and healthy food...that was my last birthday present and what a fabulous day it was! I can recommend Edan day spa at Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire. But if you look on the nett there are lots to choose from. Good luck.

I am a wife...and still have yet to receive a "best" present. But women like, flowers, jewelry, poems, cruises/trips, and maybe even a romantic night out (dinner and movie, and hotel room).

Good Luck!

sweetheart if my husband asks anyone that question then something is definitely wrong. she is your wife so you should know. every woman drops hints so the best present could be really listening to the little hints she drops and working to suit. but be careful don't let any other woman try to help you because you could be giving your wife someone elses fantasy and not hers.

A necklace...Its kind of sexy when you help her put it on standing behind her. And maybe a beautiful dress but remember to get the right size, you dont want her on your case for not knowing her size now do you? If you buy her the dress you must get her to wear it out on a romantic dinner date that night or the next day.

for my 21st birthday, my husband gave me 21 roses and a diamond teardrop necklase... his mother got me the matching earings. My favorite flowers are daisy's and lilly's, when im having a bad week he goes an gets me a few flowers just to put a smile on my face. SO, flowers, jewlery, and chocolate (or candy) are always a good idea. Get creative though... You can order m&ms online in specific colors with sayings on them, for example.

It doesn't matter so much the amount that you spend on her but get her something she can keep. Nine years ago when we had very little money my husband bought me a silver heart locket, since then he has bought me many things that have cost a lot of money but nothing matches up to the locket, it's my most treasured possession along with my photographs of my husband and kids.

Lovely card enclosing Plane tickets for her and a few friends to another country she's never been to - also give her your gold credit card with unlimited spending money. Plus diamond ring with matching earrings/necklace and a bouquet of mixed roses. Yes -EVERY YEAR! and double it on Wedding Anniversaries.

Its not what you buy its how you present it. Maybe something she is always saying she wants or a necklass. Poems i find to be very romantic so you might want to try that? Or if you want it to be really specail take her to the first restaurant you guys went to together. Recreating vows is awesome too!

A spa day! They aren't as expensive as men think and they are SO NICE!!! My favorite was a gift card for several services (manicure, pedicure, massage, facial, etc....) that I could use all at once for a whole day of pampering or one at a time for quick treats and de-stressing mini-breaks. It's nice to know you have a treat in your wallet if you are having a tough day!
